The Band Members

Name: Bob

Band role: Bassist, vocals.
Instruments: I play an active Musicman 5 string bass (natural finish) and as a backup, have a Tanglewood Bass 5 string.
Other equipment: Trace Elliot 7215 100 watt combo, Boss GT-6B effects processor, Samson Wireless transmitter & receiver, Peavey microphone.
Musical influences: I listen to all music, modern and classical. The only stuff I can't get used to is Opera.
Musical background: Played classical violin for 10 years as a kid.  Then played the HiFi for most of my adulthood until Mike needed a bass player 6 years ago.  I'd love it if we could use an electric violin in the band. My favourite styles of music are Blues, rock and classical jazz.
Favourite band: Dire Straits and Police .
Best moment on stage: The moment when the dance floor starts to fill up in front of us.
Shania or Celine?: Both.  If I have to choose, either.

Name: Chris

Band role: Guitarist and Lead Vocals.

Instruments: My main stage guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Classic and I have a 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom waiting in reserve.

Equipment: Fender "The Twin Red Knob" amplifier, Roland GP8 rack mount effects unit and AKG Wireless System.
Musical Influences: Everything. You should never restrict yourself.
Musical Background: Started playing guitar at the age of 8 and in bands from about 14. Also been known (and occasionally recorded) to get a tune out of a Trombone and a Tuba as I played in my local youth orchestra during the "teenage years". I can also mess about on keyboards and drums. Played semi pro in a Function Band for about 13 years - that's a good way to diversify!

Name: Mike

Band role: Drummer, vocals

Instruments: Mapex Pro M LA Rock drum kit, Zildjan & Paiste cymbals, Samson drum mics

Other equipment: AKG radio headset mic, Yamaha electronic drum module, Dean Edge active bass guitar & Laney amp

Musical influences: Beatles, Stones, Quo, Mac & Genesis

Musical background: Sang in school choir, played some bass guitar at Uni, taught myself drums and played in the band for local musical shows. Together with Bob, formed Midnight Crisis in 1997 and have been rocking ever since!

Favourite style of music: Rock, R & B

Name: Paul

Band role: Guitarist, vocals
Instruments: I have 16 guitars in total, but my main stage guitar is a black Fender Stratocaster, backed up by a Les Paul Goldtop and an Ibanez Jem7WH.
Other equipment: Fender 'The Twin' amplifier, Behringer Vintager GM-110 amplifier, Boss GT-6 effects processor, AKG Wireless transmitter and receiver, Shure SM58 microphone

Musical background: I've been in bands since the age of 11, mostly semi-pro.  I made a couple of records and toured California for a while in the 80s but never got onto Top of the Pops! I've been in various types of bands that have played blues, rock, 80s electro, country-folk, funk and covers.
Favourite style of music: Electric blues

The individual members of  the crew

Name: Andy

Band Role: DJ

Musical Influences: Anything really, mostly music that you can dance to.

Equipment: I use both CD and Minidisc and can provide music to suit all tastes. Special requests in advance can also be catered for.  Full Disco lighting is also provided.

Name: Chris

Date of Birth:12th August 1958

Band Role: You could call me a humpa lumpa (as in Willy Wonka) but I'm a bit too big!  Road engineer sounds good.

Equipment: Peavey 2000 Watt Amp and Peavey 12 channel desk.  There are lots of other things but I can hear the yawns starting!

Musical influences: 70's rock mainly, but as long as it is in tune-anything.

Favourite band: The CD I'm playing at the time.

Favourite team: Nottingham Forest.

Favourite place: The Brian Clough Stand at the City Ground, Nottingham.

Best moment on stage: Well it is actually next to the stage, watching the rest of the guys entertain.

Wilma or Betty: Not a hope, neither would leave Fred or Barny.
